AML/KYC Officer (Crypto)

IMC is a worldwide trading firm that supplies essential market liquidity through a sophisticated research environment and a robust technology platform. The vacancy is for an AML/KYC Officer who will concentrate on the firm’s crypto counterparties and digital‑asset operations. In this position you will carry out customer due diligence and periodic reviews for crypto clients, applying risk‑based and enhanced‑due‑diligence procedures. You will dissect complex ownership and control structures, evaluate AML/CTF and sanctions exposure, and manage escalations for high‑risk onboarding cases. Daily tasks also include adverse‑media and sanctions screening, reviewing wallet and blockchain intelligence, and preparing risk assessments and escalation memos for senior approval. Interaction with counterparties, trading, legal, compliance and operations teams is a core element, as is providing practical AML guidance and supporting policy drafting, internal audits and regulatory reviews.
