Broker (m/f/d) - Property Insurance

Marsh is looking for a Broker (m/f/d), Property Insurance to join its Zurich office. The position sits within Bowring Marsh, the specialist global wholesale‑broking arm that supports the wider Marsh network by linking international markets, providing capacity, risk‑transfer solutions, benchmarking and claims advocacy for clients worldwide. In this role you will manage a portfolio of medium‑to‑large property placements across the Swiss and European markets. Daily tasks include negotiating coverage terms and pricing with insurers, building and maintaining relationships with Swiss/European underwriters, and handling strategic client interactions. You will also advise retail and producing offices on the local insurance environment, seek new property business together with those offices, travel to major insurance hubs to promote the office's value proposition, oversee post‑placement activities such as binding documents and endorsements, and support management in preparing monthly and quarterly reports. The employer requires a commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification, together with five to seven years of experience in the insurance sector, ideally in risk management, broking or re‑insurance within the property line. Candidates must demonstrate advanced English language skills, a proven track record of delivering high‑quality service to clients, colleagues, markets and vendors, and the flexibility to adapt to varying approaches or styles in different situations. The position offers a hybrid working model with flexible hours and the possibility to work partly from home.
