The Senior System Engineer, Solution Engineering role at NVIDIA involves working on advanced networking and system software solutions. The engineer will work closely with NVIDIA's enterprise customers and internal teams to enhance the availability, reliability, and overall experience of using NVIDIA Networking products. Additionally, the role requires independent analysis, communication, and problem-solving to address customer issues effectively. Collaboration with engineering teams to document, recreate, and solve problems is also a key part of the job. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in system software development and troubleshooting is required, with some customer-facing experience being ideal. Proficiency in developing C in kernel and/or application space and/or embedded software is essential. Hands-on experience with common datacenter networking protocols and technologies, such as LACP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN, is also necessary. Strong intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, flexibility, analytical ability, self-motivation, and team orientation are crucial. Professional-level communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with InfiniBand/Ethernet networks, RDMA protocol, RoCE, DPUs, HPC applications (MPI/UCX), and OVS. Proven ability to deeply analyze IP/Layer 2 switching/Layer 3 routing networking protocols (ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, OSPF) is also beneficial. Contributions to networking-related open-source projects can further enhance a candidate's profile. The role is based in Poland, offering a competitive base salary range of 230,250 PLN - 399,100 PLN for Level 4, and 281,250 PLN - 487,500 PLN for Level 5.
