The Junior Assistant position in Technology Risk belongs to EY's IT Audit practice serving financial‑service clients across the EMEIA region. EY is a worldwide professional services firm with more than 300 000 staff members, guided by the purpose of creating a better working world. Within the Technology Risk unit, specialists help banks, insurers and other regulated institutions manage IT‑related risks, protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards. In this role you will assist senior colleagues in reviewing the IT control environment of regulated entities, such as banks supervised by FINMA. Daily tasks involve carrying out audit procedures, supporting the preparation of documentation, and using data‑analytics tools like EY Helix to enhance the efficiency of the work. You will also help draft audit findings for client delivery and keep the audit team informed about progress, while participating in a structured learning programme that builds your knowledge of IT auditing. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business informatics, business administration or a comparable discipline. You should be keen on following developments in the financial‑services sector and understand regulatory frameworks. A strong enthusiasm for technology, data and innovation, combined with a collaborative attitude, analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability, is essential. Effective, concise communication, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a self‑directed, organised approach to tasks are also required. Proficiency in English at a professional level is mandatory, while German or other languages are considered beneficial.
