To excel in this role, candidates must have a degree from a University or University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Engineering, Food Technology, or Business Administration. Several years of experience in Product Management, Business Development, Sales, or a comparable strategic role is essential, along with experience in portfolio management, pricing, product launches, market analysis, and commercialization activities. Strong business acumen combined with technical affinity and the ability to translate customer needs into profitable business opportunities is crucial. Nice-to-have skills include a willingness to travel internationally, approximately 20–30% of the time.
