Business and Financial Analyst Intern - January 2027

Chanel’s Global Travel Retail Team is looking for a Business and Financial Analyst Intern to support its fast‑growing travel‑retail business. The house, a world‑renowned luxury brand, creates and distributes high‑end fashion, accessories, beauty and jewellery, and it seeks fresh talent to help analyse performance across its worldwide travel outlets. In this position you will help produce the monthly performance report for global travel retail, create ad‑hoc analyses when requested, and assist in building new transversal financial studies such as dedicated profit‑and‑loss reviews. You will also maintain relationships with travel‑retail data providers, coordinate data consolidation with regional teams, verify data quality, and contribute to the design of reporting tools together with IT. Daily tasks include supporting the global travel team’s budget monitoring, answering internal queries, and collaborating with the Business Analytics group on routine operations. The internship requires a bachelor’s degree from a business school or university, with a finance major viewed favorably. Candidates must have proven experience in financial or business analysis, be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, and possess strong written and spoken English; fluency in French is also required. Effective communication, a collaborative mindset and the ability to work across functions are essential, as is an agile approach to problem‑solving. Preferred experience includes prior work in luxury or travel‑retail environments. The role is a full‑time, six‑month, in‑person placement in Geneva, beginning 4 January 2027, and must be tied to an academic program that awards credits.
