SENIOR TRADER – FERTILIZERS

Nodral, a worldwide supplier that serves wholesale buyers across the energy and agriculture sectors, is looking for an experienced senior trader to join its fertiliser division in Zug, Switzerland. The daily work involves shaping and executing a sales approach, seeking out and securing new overseas accounts, and preparing detailed commercial proposals. The role also requires nurturing client relationships, leading price and contract discussions, and delivering on agreed sales targets while keeping senior management informed of progress. Continuous monitoring of market trends, competitor activity, and internal performance metrics forms a core part of the job, as does close collaboration with other internal teams. Applicants must bring at least five years of hands‑on experience in fertiliser trading, a university degree in a field such as economics, engineering or mathematics, and strong analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate works independently, is meticulous, and can manage a heavy workload efficiently. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and fluency in spoken and written English are mandatory; knowledge of an additional language is viewed as a plus.
