The position of Part‑time House Parent (male) is based at Collège du Léman, an internationally‑focused boarding school on the shores of Lake Geneva. The school belongs to the Nord Anglia network and serves a diverse community of more than 120 nationalities. In this role you will act as a surrogate parent for boarders, safeguarding their emotional, social and physical health. Daily duties include supervising meals, organising weekend events, and occasionally driving students. You will track academic performance, liaise with teachers, and keep parents informed about progress and wellbeing. When emergencies arise, whether medical, maintenance‑related or a missing student, you will follow established procedures. Administrative tasks such as record‑keeping and reporting are also part of the routine. The employer requires candidates who have already worked with children or adolescents and who can demonstrate a proactive, upbeat attitude. Strong organisational abilities and meticulous record management are essential. Communication must be fluent in English, and a valid driver's licence is compulsory. Applicants must be male, hold European citizenship or a Swiss work permit, and be familiar with child‑protection standards. A passion for life in a boarding environment, the ability to join student activities and inspire participation, and a collaborative spirit are highly valued.
