The role also includes leading cross-functional sourcing boards and performing risk assessments. To qualify for this role, candidates must have 3-4 years of strategic and operational sourcing experience, with a strong understanding of global category management. Knowledge of category-specific production techniques, sourcing markets, and experience in Eastern Europe and Asia are essential. Proficiency in office software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Experience in machine building, vacuum technology, and semiconductors, as well as cross-functional team management, is also necessary. Strong analytical and communication skills in German and English are mandatory. Nice-to-have skills include experience in Best Cost Country and spend relocation activities, and proficiency in additional languages.
