BENELUX Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients Distribution

The role of BENELUX Technical Sales Manager is within GFIC, a global distributor of high-quality food ingredients, additives, nutrients, and functional systems. The company operates in nearly 40 countries across Europe, West Asia, and Africa, connecting world-class ingredient manufacturers with food and pharmaceutical producers. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve providing solution-oriented technical advice to customers and keeping suppliers informed about market developments. The role also includes supporting product and application development, managing and expanding business with existing customers, and actively developing new opportunities across the Benelux region. Additionally, the Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, driving projects from first contact to successful implementation, and working closely with the customer service team to ensure smooth operational execution. The role also involves market analysis, strategy alignment, and building close relationships with suppliers and customers. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a Degree in Food Technology. Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required. The role involves frequent travel within the Benelux region and occasional international travel for training, trade fairs, and partner meetings. A valid driving license is also necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience with ERP or CRM systems. The position is based in Belgium, with remote work possible after an initial training period.
