Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect, AI Solutions, HCLS

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect to join its HCLS organization within AWS Industries. In this capacity you will help shape and deliver cloud strategies for the world’s largest health‑care and life‑science firms, designing architectures that tackle industry‑specific challenges and speed the uptake of AWS services. Your typical day blends technical creation with customer interaction. You will devise migration plans, build prototypes and proofs of concept—especially around AI/ML, generative AI and analytics—tailored to HCLS scenarios, and conduct workshops that guide clients through secure, HIPAA‑compliant deployments. You will also draft reference architectures, contribute to whitepapers, and collaborate with account teams, professional services, product groups and partners to expand AWS adoption. The role calls for deep technical expertise combined with strong business acumen, enabling you to lead detailed architecture discussions with senior technical leaders such as Enterprise Architects, Directors and CXOs. Experience in designing scalable, resilient cloud solutions and familiarity with AI/ML, serverless, container, analytics, DevOps and security patterns are essential. Effective communication and the ability to translate emerging cloud‑native trends into actionable guidance are also required. AWS emphasizes diverse backgrounds and encourages candidates whose paths differ from the traditional route. The team values curiosity, inclusion and mentorship, offering resources for career growth and a culture that promotes work‑life harmony. Joining this group means collaborating with a global network of experts while contributing to cutting‑edge solutions that advance health‑care and life‑science innovation.
