Capco is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive the strategic transformation of their Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and Market Conduct & Trade Surveillance (MCTS) capabilities. Capco is a global technology and business consultancy focused on the financial services sector, offering expertise in banking, capital markets, payments, and asset and wealth management. They are known for their advisory services in core banking, securities, and wealth management transformation, as well as regulatory change, risk management, and technology modernization. The Senior Business Analyst will lead the business definition of strategic target states, ensuring alignment across Compliance, Technology, Architecture, and Data. They will assess current capabilities, conduct gap analyses, and translate findings into prioritized transformation measures. The role involves defining business and technology requirements, developing use cases, and creating structured multi-year transformation roadmaps. The analyst will also facilitate cross-functional decision-making, prepare recommendations for senior management, and ensure traceability from regulatory objectives through to implementation outcomes. To qualify for this role, candidates must have demonstrated expertise in Financial Crime Compliance, with project and consulting experience in the design and digital transformation of FCC solutions. Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities, along with the ability to work across business architecture, solution/enterprise architecture, and data disciplines, are essential. Fluency in both English and German is a must. Proven change and organizational capabilities, particularly in stakeholder management and the preparation of decision materials for senior management, are also required. Nice-to-have skills include experience in Market Conduct, Trade Surveillance, or comparable monitoring and surveillance environments. Familiarity with surveillance challenges such as false-positive reduction, alert management, and data quality is advantageous. Experience in developing strategic concepts spanning Financial Crime Compliance, Legal & Compliance, and wider banking transformation is also beneficial.
