Programme Officer (DTM) (P)

The International Organization for Migration, the UN agency dedicated to migration issues, is seeking a Programme Officer for its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) based in Geneva, Switzerland. The position will support the global DTM programme, helping to monitor and analyse displacement trends worldwide. In day‑to‑day work the officer will provide assistance to country teams, coordinate with Regional Data Hubs, and organise targeted deployments as needed. The role also involves improving DTM methods and standards, while fostering collaboration with a range of partners such as government bodies and inter‑agency initiatives, particularly those focused on using data to address internal displacement. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee specific solutions projects driven by the Global DTM Support team, working closely with sector leads and IOM regional and country offices. No explicit qualifications, language requirements or certifications are listed in the posting, so the summary does not include them. The posting highlights the Geneva location and the opportunity to work within a multinational UN environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the migration and humanitarian sectors. This role offers a chance to influence data‑driven approaches to displacement and to contribute to the agency’s broader mission of supporting migrants and displaced persons worldwide.
