The position is a six‑month paid internship for 2027 within the Corporate and Institutional Clients division of UBS, a worldwide wealth manager and Switzerland's leading universal bank. The role sits in the Business, Sales and Risk Management sections of the Corporate & Real Estate unit, operating from offices in Lucerne and Zug. Interns will be embedded in a team that supports corporate customers of all sizes and contributes to the development of the regional business area. During the assignment you will help launch and assess market‑expansion projects, prepare and run internal and client‑facing meetings, and support the organisation of corporate events. You will also accompany client sessions, handling everything from pre‑meeting preparation and documentation to post‑meeting follow‑up, giving you a full view of the client‑service cycle. The ideal candidate must have finished at least four semesters of a bachelor programme and must have graduated no more than six months ago, either with a bachelor's or a master's degree. A Swiss GPA of at least 4.5 is required. Fluency in German and solid English communication skills are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, together with strong analytical, problem‑solving and quick‑learning abilities, is expected. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how responsible experimentation with artificial intelligence can boost efficiency, and must display a customer‑focused attitude combined with a confident, well‑presented demeanor. The internship offers a hands‑on experience in a globally recognised financial institution, with mentorship from senior staff and exposure to a variety of tasks that change daily. Working in central Switzerland provides access to both Lucerne and Zug, while the collaborative culture at UBS encourages personal development and networking. Successful interns may be invited to join the Graduate Talent Programme after completing their studies. The role also values any prior exposure to economics, banking or finance as an added advantage. What the role asks for: - Completed minimum four semesters of bachelor studies - Graduated within past six months (bachelor or master) - Minimum GPA 4.5 (Swiss scale) - Fluent German language proficiency - Good English language skills - Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel - Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities - Ability to show responsible AI use for efficiency - Strong customer orientation and professional demeanor - Nice‑to‑have: prior experience in economics, banking or finance
