System Quality Engineer

The System Quality Engineer will join Specialized's Turbo Quality team, a group dedicated to delivering the ultimate cycling experience through cutting‑edge e‑bike technology. Specialized designs and manufactures high‑performance bicycles and related electronic systems, and this role is based at the Cham, Switzerland innovation centre. In this position you will ensure the quality and reliability of new electronic systems, features and tools. Your daily work will involve creating validation protocols for complete customer experiences, executing end‑to‑end testing, and pinpointing complex issues that span hardware, firmware, software and mobile applications. You will work closely with system, firmware, software and service engineers to build diagnostic strategies, fault trees and to drive issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through production launch and field operation. The role requires at least three years of experience in quality, system or validation engineering, or a closely related discipline. You must have worked with intricate electromechanical products that combine hardware, software, firmware, connectivity and mobile apps, and you should be familiar with new product introduction and product development processes. Experience with embedded systems, CAN communication, battery packs, motor control, connectivity solutions and mobile applications is essential, as is the ability to analyse software logs, field diagnostics, telemetry data and test reports. Strong proficiency with MS Office and Outlook, as well as excellent social, communication and networking abilities, are also required. A genuine passion for cycling and for the Specialized brand is a core expectation.
