This postdoctoral position is with a team focused on attosecond chiroptical coincidence spectroscopy, and the company is likely a research institution. The role involves leading the development of an optical platform for circularly polarized isolated attosecond pulses and integrating various components such as CEP stabilization and XUV optics. The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing and validating methods for characterizing attosecond pulses, integrating and commissioning spin-resolved electron detection, and supporting experiments on electronic wave packets and chiral molecules. The postdoctoral researcher will also mentor junior researchers and work closely with the team, including engineers and external collaborators. To be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD in a relevant field such as experimental atomic, molecular or optical physics, and a strong publication record demonstrating independent research. They must also have substantial hands-on experience in areas such as femtosecond or attosecond laser systems, high-harmonic generation, or ultrafast pulse characterization. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in experimental control and data analysis, excellent English language skills, and the ability to guide junior researchers and coordinate collaborative work. Experience with specific techniques such as high-harmonic generation, circular-polarization metrology, or reaction microscopes would be valuable, and a rigorous, constructive, and collegial working style is expected.
