Core Banking Business Analyst (f/m/x)

IBM Consulting is looking for a Core Banking Business Analyst to join one of its Client Innovation Centers, where the firm combines deep technical know‑how with industry insight to serve public and private organisations worldwide. The position sits within a global consulting practice that helps clients adopt new technologies and modernise their operations, leveraging IBM's software portfolio and Red Hat solutions. In this role you will translate banking‑specific needs into clear, actionable specifications and support the delivery of complex change programmes. Typical tasks include gathering and recording functional requirements for core‑banking modules, assisting migration and transformation efforts across multiple systems, and analysing batch‑run and accounting workflows for efficiency gains. You will collaborate with product owners, IT specialists and external partners, coordinate solution design and testing, and contribute to compliance‑related activities such as regulatory reporting and tax handling. The ideal candidate holds a master's degree and possesses extensive experience across core‑banking functions such as cash handling, securities processing, finance data, fee structures, tax, and treasury operations. Proven involvement in migration projects, batch‑optimisation work and accounting‑transformation initiatives is required. Strong communication abilities in both French and English, coupled with effective stakeholder‑management skills, are essential.
