Assistant Merchandiser Intern

The Assistant Merchandiser Intern will join Timberland’s Global Women Apparel team at VF’s EMEA headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland. VF Corporation owns brands such as The North Face®, Vans® and Timberland®, and the internship runs for twelve months starting 1 February 2027 with a gross monthly salary of 1 850 CHF. Each day you will help the women’s apparel team with product creation, collection presentation and seasonal merchandising tasks. You will keep product data accurate in the PLM/Enovia system, manage pricing and SCO details, and analyse sales figures, market insights and consumer trends to spot best‑sellers and commercial opportunities. Your work will feed into line plans, sell‑in tools, product decks and merchandising reports, while you coordinate with design, product development, footwear, accessories and marketing colleagues to keep the go‑to‑market calendar on track. You will also take charge of occasional ad‑hoc projects to build autonomy and project‑management experience. The role requires a strong enthusiasm for fashion and the clothing industry, an ability to interpret both quantitative sales data and qualitative market feedback, and a meticulous approach to handling product information. You should be comfortable summarising product briefs, possess solid organisational skills, and thrive as a proactive team player. Proficiency with Microsoft Office—especially Excel and PowerPoint—is essential, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Business or a related field is preferred. Candidates must be graduating after 1 November 2026 or hold student status on 1 February 2027 and possess EU or EEA citizenship.
