Quant Trader

A Quant Trader in this firm operates within the always‑on crypto market, where the pace never slows and a genuine passion for market movements is essential. The role is framed as a lifestyle rather than a conventional schedule, demanding constant engagement whether day or night. Day‑to‑day duties involve executing trades, managing profit and loss, and handling the routine aspects of trading operations. The trader also refines and upgrades trading strategies, constantly seeking faster and smarter ways to outperform rivals, while collaborating closely with both the research and technology groups. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as physics, mathematics, quantitative finance or econometrics, or possess an equivalent background. At least one year of high‑frequency trading experience, or a relevant internship, is required, together with a habit of tracking market developments. The ideal applicant is a competitive, goal‑driven team player with strong analytical abilities, capable of spotting and seizing opportunities in split seconds. Proficiency in programming—Python or another language—is expected, along with a proactive, honest, flexible and stress‑resilient attitude. The position offers a generous compensation package that includes a discretionary bonus, 25 days of vacation, and a lively workplace culture. Perks feature regular team dinners, Friday afternoon drinks, annual office trips, weekly massages and a monthly meal allowance. A pre‑employment screening forms part of the hiring process.
