AI Language Expert - French

Alignerr is seeking a French‑language specialist to help refine artificial‑intelligence tools that teach and communicate in French. The position is an hourly contract, performed entirely online, with a commitment of at least fifteen hours per week and a schedule you can set yourself. Your everyday tasks will involve listening to and reading AI‑produced French content, judging its linguistic correctness, natural flow, and suitability for learners. You will review spoken and written responses from students spanning the CEFR range from Pre‑A1 up to B2+, pinpoint mistakes, awkward phrasing, and gaps in pedagogy, then deliver concise, organized comments that guide the system’s improvement. Collaboration occurs through asynchronous channels with project leads and fellow experts, all aimed at boosting the reliability of the AI‑driven language instruction. The role requires native‑level command of French, proven experience teaching or assessing French learners, and a strong grasp of English at a C1/C2 level. You should be familiar with CEFR standards, hold at least a bachelor’s degree, and possess a meticulous, dependable eye for linguistic detail. Prior work with AI is not necessary. Additional assets include a background in language testing, curriculum development, or standardized examinations, as well as exposure to AI‑based educational platforms. Comfort with independent, asynchronous work is valued.
