Data Oversight & Transformation Lead

At Swissquote, the Data Oversight & Transformation Lead will spearhead the data and transformation initiatives within the Business Risk Management (BRM) department. Swissquote is Switzerland's leading digital bank, offering a range of financial services including trading, investing, and everyday banking to over a million clients globally. The company operates across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, with a team of over 1,500 people dedicated to building innovative financial solutions. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve organizing and structuring case management data to provide real-time insights into volumes, backlogs, workload, and productivity. This includes building dashboards and reports for management, translating management's reporting priorities into practical data structures, and analyzing processes to identify automation opportunities. The role also involves acting as the single point of contact for all data-related matters, including audit and regulatory-driven data extractions and reporting. To excel in this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in a Quantitative field, Computer Science, or Data Science, along with at least five years of experience in data analytics or reporting, preferably within financial services or a regulated environment. Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI, and excellent Excel skills are essential. Knowledge of SQL for querying and extracting data from case management systems is also required. Familiarity with process mapping and low-code/no-code workflow automation tools is a plus. Nice-to-have skills include an understanding of or a strong interest in learning about Risk & Compliance topics within a Swiss bank, and familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR. Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory, with French being an asset.
