As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will own the technical rollout of this AI‑driven search platform for top‑tier legal clients, ensuring the product fits each unique environment, whether cloud‑native or on‑premise. Your daily work will involve designing and implementing end‑to‑end solutions, deploying and configuring the platform across diverse infrastructures, and linking it to document management systems, identity providers and other data sources. Collaboration with Sales Engineering, Product, Engineering and Site Reliability teams will be constant, feeding customer feedback into product improvements and scaling processes. The position requires at least three years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, forward deployment or a similar technical discipline, together with a proven track record of delivering enterprise software in production. You should be comfortable with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, and be adept at communicating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience with enterprise search, AI/LLM platforms, document management, Infrastructure as Code or a fast‑growing SaaS startup is a plus. The role is based in Zurich within a high‑ownership culture that values diverse perspectives, and it offers the chance to shape AI‑powered knowledge work for some of the world’s most prominent law firms while working alongside engineers who have built the core technology.
