The Clinical Data and Trial Lead role involves contributing to clinical trials that advance mechanical ventilation technology. The main responsibilities include implementing data management tools for clinical and medical device data, processing and analyzing medical device data, and conducting exploratory data analyses. The role also involves developing and validating electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and clinical databases, performing ongoing clinical data review, and coordinating clinical studies throughout their lifecycle. Additionally, the position requires supporting clinical project planning and acting as a key contact for various stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, biomedical, statistics, data science, or related field. Strong programming skills in MATLAB and Python are essential, with experience in C++, C#, or C being a plus. At least two years of hands-on experience in clinical studies, clinical data management, or clinical database development is required. Familiarity with clinical trial regulations and data protection regulations is also necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience with acute-care workflows, PDMS, and bedside device data integration. Familiarity with eCRF development, programming, and testing, as well as a background in statistical analysis and data interpretation for clinical research, are also beneficial. Fluency in English is required, with German being a plus. The role may involve up to 10% international travel.
