As a Field Medical Advisor Solid Tumors at Servier, you will act as a strategic scientific partner for oncology, concentrating on ocular oncology. Reporting to the Medical Lead Oncology & Hematology, the role is field‑based and aims to reinforce Servier's scientific footprint across Switzerland while fostering trusted collaborations with healthcare professionals and scientific societies. Your everyday work will involve shaping and executing the local medical strategy for the solid‑tumour portfolio, especially melanoma and ocular oncology. You will spot unmet clinical needs, monitor treatment trends and evidence gaps, and turn those insights into targeted medical initiatives. The position also requires you to provide balanced, compliant scientific information, support real‑world evidence projects, registries, observational studies and investigator‑initiated research, and manage scientific exchanges such as advisory boards and educational events. In addition, you will deliver medical training to internal colleagues, keep abreast of emerging data and congress highlights, and contribute to patient‑affairs projects that improve disease awareness and the patient journey. To succeed, you need an advanced university qualification in a health‑related scientific field (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc or equivalent) and a solid background in pharmaceutical Medical Affairs. You should have several years of experience in the sector, including specific exposure to oncology, and be fluent in English. A thorough grasp of the Swiss healthcare system, its regulatory and market‑access landscape, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Strong project‑management skills and a willingness to travel frequently across Switzerland, with occasional international trips, are also required. The role benefits from a collaborative, cross‑functional environment that values scientific excellence and compliance. While German or French language skills and experience in melanoma or ocular oncology are advantageous, the position offers the chance to work closely with commercial, marketing, market‑access, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and global medical teams, providing a broad perspective on patient‑centric initiatives and future therapeutic areas. What the role asks for: - Advanced university degree in health‑related scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc) - 3–5 years Medical Affairs experience, including 2–3 years in Oncology - Fluency in English - Good understanding of Swiss healthcare, regulatory, market‑access and compliance context - Experience in medical strategy development, scientific communication or evidence generation - Strong project‑management capability for multiple simultaneous activities - Willingness to travel frequently within Switzerland and occasionally abroad - Nice‑to‑have: experience in melanoma or ocular oncology
