Fraud Officer

The Fraud Officer role is within Swissquote's Middle Office, Anti-Fraud & Financial Crime Center team. The company is a financial services provider. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve communicating with the internal customer support team to resolve dispute requests. The role includes processing dispute-related transactions using Visa and MasterCard platforms, reviewing transaction monitoring alerts for suspicious activity, and investigating and acting on alerts to ensure compliance. The Fraud Officer will also resolve issues for cardholders, respond to transaction-related requests, and maintain records of investigations and case outcomes. Additionally, the role involves staying updated on card scheme rules and regulations and exploring ways to improve fraud strategies. The must-have requirements include a minimum of three years' experience in a banking operations department. Knowledge of Visa and MasterCard dispute rules and regulations is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory, with proficiency in French being a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities are essential. The candidate must be able to think creatively, work well within a team, and manage stress effectively. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to work with high volumes of data and the capability to continuously learn and improve product and job knowledge.
