AI Data & Insights Engineer (m/f/d)

bbv Software Services AG, a Swiss software and consulting firm of roughly 300 staff, is hiring an AI Data and Insights Engineer. The role centres on getting data ready for agentic AI applications: ingesting it, managing it and making it usable. A large part of the work is designing and running data workflows that hold up in practice, meaning they are dependable, economical to operate and able to grow with demand. The engineer builds pipelines and prepares datasets that make AI use cases viable, delivered as reusable assets other teams can pick up directly. The position also has a people-facing side. The successful candidate helps colleagues and clients actually reach and use AI-generated insights, lowering the obstacles to adoption and strengthening how decisions get made on the basis of data. Candidates should communicate confidently and be capable of engaging customers on data and AI subjects, in German as well as English. The company expects a process-minded approach to structuring workflows, a good understanding of how data moves through an organisation, and the ability to spot quality problems and inefficiencies in those flows. Practical experience with structured and unstructured sources is required, ideally including Dagster and RClone.
