Reconciliation Specialist

The Reconciliation Specialist role sits within a fast‑growing fintech firm that operates in the payments arena, delivering acquiring, payout, peer‑to‑peer, refund and charge‑back services. You will join a team focused on ensuring the accuracy of financial flows across all channels while supporting the company’s expansion. Each day you will perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of transactions, aligning internal accounting records with bank statements by leveraging Excel tools such as formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUP. You will spot, analyse and correct mismatches, work closely with account and support colleagues to investigate issues, and compile financial reports that reflect reconciliation outcomes. In addition, you will take part in projects aimed at automating and refining the reconciliation workflow. The position requires a minimum of two years’ experience in payment systems, fintech or banking specifically as a reconciliation specialist. You must have practical exposure to card‑transaction reconciliation and to reconciling data from payment providers, banks and internal platforms. A solid grasp of acquiring, charge‑back mechanisms, payment infrastructure and cash‑flow concepts is essential, as is the ability to manipulate large data sets in Excel. Fluency in both English and Russian is also mandatory.
