The Business Strategist (P&C and Region CH) at UBS Chief Strategy Office is a pivotal role within the Personal & Corporate Banking Strategy Team in Zurich. The strategist will lead the development of strategies for UBS Personal & Corporate Banking and Region Switzerland, support senior management in decision-making, and conduct detailed industry, competitor, and benchmarking analyses. Additionally, the role includes designing operating models, preparing business plans with financial modeling, and creating implementation roadmaps for strategic projects. The strategist will also support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects and may engage in cross-divisional strategy projects as opportunities arise. To excel in this role, candidates must have 1-4 years of professional experience in a top management consulting firm or a similar in-house corporate development position, preferably with a focus on financial services. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for articulating complex concepts clearly. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and possess a strategic mindset with a good understanding of the commercial market. Strong organizational and project management skills, along with a high level of energy and self-motivation, are also required. Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of the Swiss economy and market.
