Account Payable Officer (40-50%)

Swissquote, Switzerland’s leading digital bank with more than 1,400 employees across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, is looking for a part‑time Account Payable Officer. The role sits in the Finance Department and reports to the Responsible Accounting Team, supporting the bank’s mission to deliver modern, user‑friendly financial services to a global client base. The daily work revolves around handling supplier accounts, entering invoices, and executing payments while ensuring each invoice receives the proper approval according to internal policy. The officer will reconcile accounts payable balances, address any mismatches, and work closely with other departments to clear invoice‑related questions. Additional duties include processing corporate credit‑card transactions, assisting with overhead expense monitoring, supporting month‑end closing and reconciliation, contributing to ad‑hoc reports, and keeping process documentation up to date. Coaching and guidance for apprentices, as well as assorted general accounting and administrative tasks, also form part of the routine. Applicants must hold a CFC or an equivalent accounting diploma and bring at least three years of comparable experience, preferably within a banking environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel—is required, and fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, is mandatory. Knowledge of the Ivalua procurement system is mentioned as a beneficial addition.
