Senior Software Engineer C++ (Endpoint Agent, OS internals)

The company’s Collectors are endpoint agents that run on millions of Windows and macOS devices, gathering OS‑level data, aggregating it locally, and sending it to a cloud analytics platform while also helping to remediate problems. As a Senior Software Engineer C++ (Endpoint Agent, OS internals), you will join the team that builds and evolves these critical agents. Your daily work will involve designing and implementing new Collector features in modern C++20/23, ensuring they run efficiently and securely on both Windows and macOS. You will own feature development from specification through production rollout, add observability, and measure impact. The role requires deep investigation of OS‑level issues across diverse customer fleets, continuous improvement of performance, reliability, security and maintainability, and creation of tooling that supports the development process. The position demands at least five years of software development experience and fluency in C++20/23. A solid grasp of operating‑system internals and hands‑on experience with OS‑level software on Windows and/or macOS are essential, as is a track record of delivering end‑to‑end features. You should be comfortable writing pure, lean, well‑tested code, debugging complex systems, and using AI‑assisted coding tools. Clear, concise English communication and a product‑oriented mindset are also required. Preferred experience includes kernel‑mode development and cross‑platform work spanning Windows and macOS.
