AI Solutions Engineer

The AI Solutions Engineer will help a fast‑growing med‑tech company bring together the various AI tools and projects that already exist across its teams, turning them into a single, company‑wide strategy. You will design and launch new AI‑driven workflows, using agents, skills and similar techniques, to put that strategy into action, while also owning the underlying AI infrastructure, whether it runs in the cloud or on‑premises. On a daily basis you will act as the go‑to expert for AI, guiding projects on regulatory, compliance and risk matters. You will evaluate and approve external AI components before they are integrated into products or processes, and you will raise AI literacy throughout the organisation by mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge and providing hands‑on enablement. The role requires a university degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a closely related discipline, together with at least five years of practical experience in AI/ML engineering or solution architecture. You must have a proven record of moving an AI/ML solution from concept through to production, and you need solid experience with both cloud‑based and on‑premises AI platforms. A clear understanding of AI governance and regulatory issues, especially in a regulated industry, is essential, as are excellent communication skills that let you translate technical depth for non‑technical audiences. You should be independent, resourceful and able to work analytically, hands‑on and pragmatically. The position is based in Bern, full‑time (100 % workload), with a start date to be agreed.
