Postdoctoral Fellow on development and implementation of novel electronic-structure methods and algorithms

The Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Switzerland’s largest natural and engineering science research centre, is hiring a postdoctoral fellow to develop and implement new electronic‑structure methods and algorithms within the Laboratory for Materials Simulations (LMS) of the Center for Scientific Computing, Theory and Data (CSD). PSI pursues cutting‑edge fundamental and applied research on future technologies, energy, climate, health innovation and basic science, aiming to deliver sustainable solutions to major societal, scientific and economic challenges. The institute employs roughly 2,300 staff, with about a quarter consisting of post‑docs, recent graduates or apprentices, providing a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment for early‑career researchers.
