Tanker Trader

The Tanker Trader will focus on generating consistent profits in both emerging and developed markets. The role involves devising and executing profitable trading strategies for speculative and risk management books. This includes working with the OT tanker desk and internal customers. The trader will also collaborate with the tanker team, risk team, and leadership to discuss and explain trading themes, providing expert thought leadership. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. Experience in trading Tanker FFA markets is essential, as is comprehensive knowledge of oil and tanker markets. The ability to analyze, discuss, and execute trading strategies in these markets is crucial. Strong collaboration skills and the capability to work within a trading team are also required. Additionally, candidates must possess impeccable trading logic and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to innovate around new trading ideas, both derivative and physical, within Cargill's trading parameters.
