The main day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring security systems, including cameras and monitors, to detect any malfunctions or security breaches. When issues are identified, the officer informs both the customer and Workrate through their software. Additionally, the role includes receiving visitors and packages at the front counter and ensuring that all individuals can properly identify themselves. The officer will also conduct regular patrols of the facility, always accompanied by a colleague, and will undergo training to handle various security situations effectively. To qualify for this role, candidates must be willing to obtain a security license, which Workrate will assist with. Proficiency in both French and English is essential, as is a strong command of Microsoft Office. Good human relations skills and a well-kept, representative appearance are also required.
