Contract Specialist - Remote

The position of Contract Specialist is offered on a contract basis and can be performed from any location, as it is fully remote. The role focuses on creating and refining legal agreements that support the organization’s commercial activities. Day‑to‑day duties involve producing, reviewing, and polishing templates, sample contracts, and annotated versions of various agreement types such as Master Service Agreements, lease contracts, intellectual‑property licensing deals, marketing arrangements, and other licensing documents. Each file must align with up‑to‑date legal requirements, industry norms, and realistic business scenarios, and be submitted as high‑quality material for inclusion in an AI training dataset. Clear and timely communication, both written and spoken, is required to confirm expectations and deliverables. Applicants should be a practicing or newly qualified commercial attorney with hands‑on experience drafting and negotiating contracts. Familiarity with standard commercial paperwork—including MSAs, lease agreements, IP and marketing contracts—is essential, as are strong written and oral communication abilities and a meticulous eye for detail to ensure legal compliance. The job also expects comfort with independent remote work and the capacity to adapt legal documents for practical use. An interest or background in legal operations, technology, or AI‑driven platforms is considered a valuable addition.
