Spanish–Vietnamese Interpreter

The role is for a Spanish, Vietnamese Interpreter, working at a manufacturing facility in Ben Cat, Vietnam. The company is looking for interpreters to support day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth communication between Spanish and Vietnamese-speaking employees, teams, and stakeholders. The main day-to-day responsibilities include providing accurate and professional interpretation during various manufacturing and operational activities. This involves interpreting technical, operational, safety, and workplace-related communications across different plant environments, such as production lines, laboratories, and warehouses. Interpreters must maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism, follow all plant safety and security procedures, and complete daily timesheets. They may also need to support additional interpretation tasks as required by the client during their assigned shifts. To qualify, candidates must have strong Vietnamese language proficiency suitable for professional interpretation and a proven ability to interpret accurately in a professional or business environment. They should also have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Previous manufacturing interpretation experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Ben Cat, Vietnam, and comply with all plant safety, security, confidentiality, and conduct requirements. The role requires working consistently throughout the contract period, which runs from October through December 2026, with shifts covering Monday through Friday. Nice-to-have skills include Spanish proficiency at a CEFR B2 to native-speaker level, previous experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or warehouse operations, and experience interpreting technical or safety-related terminology. Familiarity with workplace health, safety, and operational procedures, as well as experience in multinational manufacturing environments, is also beneficial. The role involves working in a team of six interpreters, providing coverage across three shifts per day.
