Sr. Specialist - VM Guideline Designer

The position of Senior Visual Merchandising Specialist (2D/3D Design) at On focuses on shaping the brand’s visual language across direct‑to‑consumer channels, business‑to‑business spaces and showroom environments. On positions its products in premium, innovative settings worldwide, and this role reports to the visual merchandising leadership team to translate editorial ideas into tangible retail experiences. Each day you will steward the global visual merchandising guidelines, crafting both two‑dimensional graphic layouts and three‑dimensional renders that illustrate spatial concepts and zoning plans. You will partner with the Head of VM and the senior DTC lead to design core tools, presentation decks and training materials, while working closely with regional VM leads to ensure on‑site execution aligns with the global standards. Collaboration with merchandising, buying and field teams is essential to reflect product strategy and commercial priorities, and you will maintain the global reporting deck to deliver timely updates for the BX team. The role requires a university degree—or equivalent—in editorial design, interior design or a related discipline, plus at least four years of proven experience as a 2D graphic or 3D specifications designer. Candidates must be highly proficient on Mac or PC, with advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and 3D software such as SketchUp. Strong project‑management abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced setting are essential, as is the talent to communicate design intent clearly across departments. A self‑directed, problem‑solving mindset and genuine passion for visual merchandising, fashion and retail innovation are also required. Familiarity with animation or motion design is considered a plus.
