Propulsion Test Engineer (SRM)

Destinus is looking for a Propulsion Test Engineer to join its engineering team and take charge of solid‑rocket‑motor and igniter testing. The position focuses on guaranteeing safe, repeatable and compliant experiments on energetic propulsion hardware, while continuously improving the test process. In this role you will plan, coordinate and run full test campaigns, drafting clear test plans and procedures that link objectives to results. You will lead readiness reviews and pre‑test briefings, verify that technical, operational and safety conditions are met, and act as the test conductor during live firings, managing personnel, safety zones and decision‑making. Responsibilities also include developing hazard analyses, contingency and emergency plans, ensuring adherence to internal safety standards and relevant regulations, supporting instrumentation and data‑acquisition definition, overseeing motor and igniter integration, and documenting test outcomes. You will work closely with propulsion, mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineers, contribute to test‑infrastructure upgrades, and participate in investigations of anomalies or incidents.
