VAT Group, the world’s leading supplier of high‑performance vacuum valves, is looking for an Electronics Industrialization Engineer to join its permanent team in Haag, St. Gallen, Switzerland. With more than 60 years of innovation and a global workforce of over 3,200, VAT delivers cutting‑edge vacuum solutions from sites in Switzerland, Malaysia and Romania while fostering a collaborative, #oneVAT culture. In this role you will guide new electronic products through the full industrialization cycle, from early qualification to final acceptance. You will work closely with EMS partners and internal departments to qualify production processes, develop custom test tools for verification, and produce the required production documentation. Your duties also include performing and recording first‑article inspections, standardising manufacturing procedures, supporting ongoing electronics product development, and managing product changes through change‑management processes. The position requires a solid academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics or mechatronic engineering. You must have hands‑on experience in electronics development covering analog, digital, micro‑controller and power‑electronics domains, as well as programming skills in languages such as C, C# or SPS and familiarity with ECAD tools like Altium. A proactive, fast‑acting work style and the ability to travel internationally for 5‑10 % of the time are essential.
