Mechanical Engineer Boiler and Filter Systems

As a Mechanical Engineer for Boiler and Filter Systems you will act as the technical lead and primary contact for designated products throughout each project phase. Your daily work will involve drafting supplier specifications, steering technical negotiations and overseeing supplier performance during execution. You will coordinate cross‑disciplinary technical interfaces, guarantee adherence to standards, quality and HSE rules, and review drawings, P&IDs and component designs. You will also troubleshoot production issues, promote lean improvements and carry out supplier inspections for boiler cleaning, hydraulic, scrubber and composite systems. The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering (or equivalent) together with relevant professional experience. You must possess solid knowledge of system design, optimisation, technical specifications and industry standards such as EN, ISO, ASME, ASTM and API. Experience with fibre‑composite materials and competence in 2D/3D CAD methods are essential, as are strong skills in MS Office 365 and AI tools. Effective communication, cross‑functional collaboration, fluency in German and English, a hands‑on problem‑solving attitude and the ability to operate in an international environment are also mandatory.
