Python QA Lead - Remote

The position of Python Quality Assurance Lead is a remote, hourly contract role with a fast‑growing AI Data Services firm that supplies training data to many of the world’s leading artificial‑intelligence companies and foundation‑model laboratories. In this capacity you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality, uniformity and trainer output across Python‑focused AI training initiatives. Your everyday tasks will involve sampling Python deliverables, pinpointing defects, and delivering clear written critiques. You will examine AI‑generated scripts, debugging replies, algorithm snippets, automation pieces, test cases and explanatory text, then communicate updates and expectations to trainers through Discord. Additional duties include answering technical questions about syntax, runtime behavior, exception handling, package usage, testing, typing, security and performance, reaching out to contributors who have gone silent, and maintaining a suite of documentation, style guides, FAQs, trackers and onboarding resources. You will also lead introductory calls for new Python contributors and flag code that is misleading, non‑executable, insecure, inefficient or unsuitable for production. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, information technology, or possess equivalent professional software‑engineering experience. Fluency in English is required for following guidelines and providing precise feedback. At least three years of hands‑on Python experience in development, backend work, automation, scripting, data pipelines, code review, quality assurance, teaching or technical mentorship is essential. A
