Senior Payroll Manager

The Senior Payroll Manager, acting as Head of HR‑Administration for Batgroup, will steer the human‑resources and administrative backbone of the three brands Batmaid, Putzfrau and Batsoft. Reporting straight to the COO, the role sits at the centre of a fast‑growing ecosystem that blends cleaning services with tech‑driven solutions. Day‑to‑day the incumbent will guide a cross‑functional team to deliver flawless field payroll through SwissSalary, guaranteeing on‑time, error‑free salary runs, adjustments and family‑allowance entries. They will coordinate annual salary disclosures in line with Swiss statutes, serve as the final point of contact for intricate payroll queries, and maintain the integrity of payroll reporting, XML uploads and the SwissSalary database. Responsibilities also span processing sickness and accident claims, handling official administrative forms, managing contract changes, work certificates and complex terminations, as well as supervising client invoicing, overdue payment follow‑up and collaboration with a debt‑collection partner. Regular travel to Zurich, team motivation, KPI monitoring and structured reporting to the COO round out the operational scope. The position demands at least five years of proven leadership in administrative, HR or payroll settings, preferably within a high‑volume or scale‑up environment. Candidates must possess deep, practical expertise in Swiss labour law, social security, payroll operations and regulatory compliance, and have led intricate external audits covering AHV/AVS, LAA/UVG and collective labour agreements. Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with German considered a strong advantage, and the ability to travel to Zurich on a weekly basis. Additional assets include hands‑on experience with SwissSalary and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, a track record of streamlining processes and automating repetitive tasks, and a positive, communicative style that builds trust and advises senior leadership.
