Internship - Reporting Automation (m/f/d)

The internship focuses on Reporting Automation, helping the team turn complex data into clear, actionable reports. You will start by observing the current reporting workflow and spotting opportunities for simplification. By interviewing end‑users you'll translate their needs into concrete examples. You'll explore modern large‑language‑model APIs, including OpenAI, Claude, and DeepSeek, to design an AI‑driven prototype that assembles data into customized reports. The role also involves experimenting with report layouts, charts, and simple automation, testing the prototype with realistic scenarios, gathering feedback, and iterating on the design. Finally, you will document how the solution works, share lessons learned, and suggest next steps. The ideal candidate is enrolled in a master's program in computer science, data science, business analytics, engineering, information systems, or a closely related discipline. You should be keen on reporting automation, digital transformation, and data‑driven decision‑making, and have hands‑on experience with data analysis, business intelligence, process modelling, or prototyping. Familiarity with enterprise reporting, visualization, workflow, low‑code/no‑code platforms, SQL, Python, or comparable tools is required, as is structured, problem‑solving thinking and strong communication in English and/or French. The position runs for six months, beginning in February or March 2027, at our Corsier‑sur‑Vevey site.
