Mathematics Expert - Remote

The position of Mathematics Expert is a remote, contract‑based role that backs an artificial‑intelligence initiative. The team is building a system that relies heavily on sophisticated mathematical reasoning, and it needs specialists who can generate and assess high‑quality mathematical material. Day‑to‑day duties involve crafting and reviewing challenging problems, solutions and formal proofs, especially in calculus and other higher‑level topics. The specialist will check the work for correctness, clarity and logical soundness, provide detailed explanations and technical justifications, and apply research techniques to confirm new concepts. Interaction with other contributors is expected, offering expert commentary and ensuring the mathematical content meets the project’s standards. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in mathematics, applied mathematics or a closely related discipline. They should possess deep familiarity with advanced mathematics and proof construction, strong analytical abilities, and a track record of mathematical research or technical analysis. Excellent written and spoken communication is essential, as is the capacity to produce clear, precise and well‑organized mathematical documents. Additional assets include experience authoring scholarly papers or academic material, a background in developing problem sets, and prior involvement in collaborative research projects. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility while requiring close coordination with the broader team. No previous work in AI is required, making it suitable for mathematicians eager to apply their expertise to cutting‑edge technology.
