Tender Specialist

The company is looking for a Tender Specialist to support its Established Pharmaceutical Division, partnering with the Global Tender Management Head and various internal groups to sharpen tender capabilities and help markets win key contracts. The daily work involves analysing market and customer information to shape tender approaches, monitoring price trends and identifying risks, and assisting in the execution of strategic plans. The specialist will keep an eye on upcoming tender opportunities, help prepare cross‑functional action plans, and ensure the company’s tender process is applied uniformly. Collaboration spans finance, supply chain, pricing, marketing and local market teams, with duties that include coordinating review panels, building training resources, and crafting value propositions that meet client needs while adhering to Abbott’s compliance standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of experience leading teams or projects—preferably in pharma or health‑care—and a comparable span of commercial work. Direct involvement in tender management at a local, regional or global level for a minimum of three years is required, as is strong analytical ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations. Effective communication, a collaborative attitude and the capacity to influence across departments are also essential.
