Stäubli is a worldwide provider of industrial and mechatronic solutions, operating through four divisions, Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors, Robotics and Textile. With a presence in 28 countries, agents in 50 and a workforce of roughly 6,000, the group is headquartered in Pfäffikon/Schwyz, Switzerland. The Corporate Operations Controller will act as the primary finance partner to the Chief Operating Officer and the Operations Leadership Team, helping shape strategic choices across manufacturing, procurement, planning, logistics, quality and supply‑chain functions. The role blends business partnering with deep operational‑controlling expertise to raise performance visibility, enforce global standards and drive continuous improvement that boosts efficiency, working capital and overall business results. On a daily basis the controller will supply the COO and senior operations leaders with financial insight, performance analysis, business cases and decision‑support for initiatives such as network design, footprint optimisation and supply‑chain redesign. They will own the budgeting, forecasting, cost‑control and reporting processes for corporate operations, keep a close eye on operational and financial KPIs and trigger corrective actions where needed. The position also entails maintaining and upgrading global standard‑costing, inventory control, plant‑performance measurement and controlling policies, while ensuring transparent reporting across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, productivity, forecast accuracy and working‑capital metrics. As the finance lead on transformation projects, the controller will define KPIs, reporting needs and performance measures within SAP, planning, consolidation and business‑intelligence tools, and will support the Group Controlling community through training, best‑practice sharing and finance‑transformation initiatives. Travel of roughly 20‑30 % will involve visits to production sites mainly in Europe, with occasional trips to the United States and China. The ideal candidate must bring extensive experience in operations, supply‑chain or manufacturing finance within a global industrial environment, including hands‑on work at a production site. They need solid expertise in standard costing, budgeting, variance analysis, inventory and procurement finance, as well as proven ability to manage performance and optimise working capital. Advanced analytical and financial‑modelling skills are required, together with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders, communicating complex topics clearly across functions and geographies, and leading international, cross‑functional transformation projects. Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, planning and consolidation systems, and business‑intelligence tools is essential, as is a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, controlling or a related discipline and fluent professional‑level English. Additional assets include German or French language skills and any of the following qualifications: MBA, CPA, CMA, Lean/Six Sigma or Project Management certifications. The position offers a collaborative, matrix‑based environment where long‑term cultural fit is valued. Interviews start remotely and progress to on‑site meetings, giving candidates the chance to meet the whole team and assess mutual compatibility. What the role asks for: - Extensive Operations Finance or related experience in global industrial setting - Experience at local production site or factory level - Expertise in standard costing, budgeting and variance analysis - Strong inventory management and procurement finance skills - Proven performance management and working capital optimisation ability - Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities - Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex topics - Experience leading international cross‑functional transformation projects - Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and related planning/consolidation tools - Knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling - Fluent English (professional level) - German language proficiency (nice‑to‑have) - French language proficiency (nice‑to‑have) - MBA qualification (nice‑to‑have) - CPA certification (nice‑to‑have) - CMA certification (nice‑to‑have) - Lean/Six Sigma training (nice‑to‑have) - Project Management qualification (nice‑to‑have)
