The Head of MES & PI Competence Center (a) will work closely with project managers, IT, OT, and business experts to ensure projects deliver expected value. Leading and mentoring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and managing third-party vendors and partners are also key responsibilities. To excel in this role, candidates must have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing Digital Manufacturing applications and projects in a regulated pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing environment is essential. Experience with MES, process historian, or shopfloor-related IT/OT applications such as Körber PAS-X or AVEVA PI is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels, are crucial. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, prioritization, collaboration, and adaptability skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and German is mandatory.
