The Manager, Apheresis & Cryopreservation Services will oversee the supply of commercial cryopreserved starting material for CAR-T and Advanced Therapies. This role involves managing cryopreservation centers to ensure high-quality materials at minimal cost, fostering innovation, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. The Manager's daily tasks include understanding and communicating market opportunities, leading partner assessments, and implementing new products. They will define technical transfer expectations, manage supplier relationships, and oversee financials. The role also involves establishing performance metrics, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance and cost management. Additionally, the Manager will optimize the cryopreservation network and manage its budget. To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least six years of relevant experience in business management, particularly within the Pharmaceutical Cell Therapy, Biologics, or similarly regulated industries. A solid understanding of functions like Quality, Technical Operations, Finance, Planning, and Procurement is essential. Strong influencing skills and the ability to understand issues from multiple viewpoints are also required. Nice-to-have skills include experience in Agile Manufacturing, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Strategic Supply Chain Management. The role may require up to 25% travel, both domestic and international, and flexibility to work weekends or off-hours for patient support. The position is based in multiple locations across Europe, including Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium, Cork, Ireland, Latina, Italy, Leiden, Netherlands, and Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
