Investment Banking Expert - Remote

We are hiring an Investment Banking Expert on a contractor basis to work remotely for a client‑focused project that trains next‑generation AI systems. The role leverages deep investment‑banking knowledge to produce high‑quality financial analysis, valuation work and industry research that will be fed into AI models. Day‑to‑day you will conduct company and sector research, screen targets and perform comparable‑company and transaction analyses. You will build, review and troubleshoot Excel‑based financial and valuation models, prepare pitchbooks and client presentation decks, and scrutinise financial materials for errors, valuation issues and logical gaps. Clear written and verbal explanations of accounting treatments, valuation adjustments and transaction sensitivities are also required. The position calls for senior‑level experience in M&A or investment banking, hands‑on involvement in live acquisition or sale processes, and strong expertise in Excel modelling, valuation and scenario analysis. Proven ability to conduct research, target screening, comparable analysis and pitchbook preparation, together with a talent for improving analytical and client‑facing deliverables, is essential. Excellent communication skills and a meticulous, analytical mindset round out the profile.
