Swissquote Compliance Officer - Monitoring (6 months)

Swissquote seeks a Compliance Officer for its Legal & Compliance Department, joining the Monitoring Team that supports the bank's compliance service. The role focuses on safeguarding cash, securities and digital‑asset movements by applying AML and CTF standards. Daily duties involve checking and approving transfers, reviewing digital‑asset deposits and withdrawals, and analysing high‑risk transaction alerts. You will clarify client queries, draft memos, conduct enhanced due diligence, examine transactional behaviour, and flag suspicious or sanctions‑related activity to the appropriate compliance units. Participation in regulatory projects and documenting clients' source of funds and wealth are also part of the job. The position requires a methodical, proactive mindset and the ability to handle a varied workload in a multicultural, technology‑driven environment. What the role asks for: - Degree in Law or Economics - 3‑5 years experience in Compliance Monitoring - Good knowledge of Swiss banking and AML regulations - Excellent English and French proficiency - German language (strong asset), nice-to-have - Crypto knowledge, nice-to-have - Analytical and methodological approach - Proactive task prioritisation and workload management
